<p>Grady Stewart Crossley, Sr., age 84 of Waco, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, in a local hospital. Born on August 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Henry Grady Crossley and the late Mattie Lou Crossley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine Cook Crossley; daughter, Julie Ann Payton; sister, Eunice Parker and brother, Luke Crossley.&nbsp; </p><p>Grady was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. However, the time he spent with his family was most important to him. Pawpaw especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. </p><p>Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Crossley of Waco; sons, Grady Crossley, Jr. of Stockbridge and Billy Joe Crossley of Stockbridge; son-in-law, Randy Payton of Waco; grandchildren, Ava Crossley, Caitlin Crossley, Trey (Shelby) Crossley, Nichole (Conner) Mays, Sharon (Brad) Thornton and Jonathan (Tana) Payton; fourteen great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends. </p><p>In keeping with Grady's wishes he will be cremated.&nbsp; </p><p>Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel &amp; Crematory of Buchanan.&nbsp; </p>
