<p>Steve J. Goldberg PhD, 80 of Clinton, NY passed on November 12, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a graduate of Brooklyn College, University of Hawai’i and University of Michigan. A former professor of Asian Art History at The University of Hawaii, Honolulu, HI and Hamilton College, Clinton, NY he retired after 14 and 22 years on their faculty, respectively. </p><p><br></p><p>He was the devoted husband of Susan (Gelfer) Goldberg; Beloved father of Ariel Goldberg and his wife Shira Cohen; Proud grandfather of Hallel Cohen-Goldberg, Ya’ara Cohen-Goldberg and Nesya Cohen-Goldberg and Dear brother of Leslie Goldberg, Nancy Sternberg and the late Neil Goldberg. </p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) Malden on Thursday November 14 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Temple Shalom of Medford Cemetery in Peabody. Memorial week will be observed at the home of Shira & Ariel Cohen-Goldberg.
