A saint to her core, she never spoke a bad word about anyone. A visit with Charlotte left you feeling comforted, cared for and valued. She offered an empathetic listening ear and heartfelt support with every story told, laugh shared or trouble carried. There was only good in her heart, and she made sure everyone around her could feel its warmth. A moment with Charlotte was an embrace of love, and her presence simply made everything better.

Above all, Charlotte was devoted to her family. Married nearly 70 years to Walter Pikorz, their love stands as a testament to faithfulness, sacrifice, and unwavering strength. Together in Markham they built a bustling lively household, raising four children, while simultaneously growing their businesses. Charlotte’s selflessness served as the foundation that bonded the family together. Children were the light of her life, and never would a child, grandchild or great-grandchild leave without hearing a compliment, a song, or admiring praise.

Now, as we celebrate her remarkable life, it is her turn to receive the love and admiration she so generously gave. We honor her memory by continuing her legacy of kindness, compassion, and perhaps rescuing every animal in sight.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to your local animal shelter.

Visitation Sunday November 3, 2024, from 2 – 6 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapels 4201 W. 147th St Midlothian, IL 60445.
