<p><p>Judith Kay "Judy" Stocchi, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, at the age of 77 in Burton, Michigan. Born on November 25, 1946, in Malden, Missouri, Judy was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>Judy's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a loving mother to Tonya Frank and Peter (Christina) Stocchi, and a doting grandmother to Kalie, Zachary, Joshua, and Gabriel, and five great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. Judy was a sister to Jan (John) Endicott, Sandra Lester, Charlotte (Silas) McCaslin, and Steve Wagoner. Her life was enriched by the deep bonds she shared with her siblings.</p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Unis Wagoner, and her beloved husband, Peter Stocchi, with whom she shared many cherished memories.</p><p><br></p><p>Judy's professional life was spent at Burton Meijer, where she retired in 1992. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated and hardworking individual who brought warmth and kindness to the workplace. Judy's generous spirit extended into her retirement, where she became an integral part of her grandsons' youth sports, keeping score and cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm.</p><p><br></p><p>A woman of faith, Judy attended River Church in Goodrich, where she found great solace and community. Her church family will miss her presence, her unwavering faith, and the love she extended to all members of the congregation.</p><p><br></p><p>Those who knew Judy will remember her for the love she poured into her family. Her courage in the face of adversity, her generous nature, and her ability to love unconditionally were the hallmarks of her character. Judy's legacy is one of love and selflessness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.</p><p><br></p><p>Judy's interests were a reflection of her loving heart, as she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. The moments she shared with them were the highlights of her life, filled with laughter, stories, and the creation of lasting memories.</p><p><br></p><p>As we bid farewell to Judith Kay Stocchi, we celebrate a life lived with immense love and courage. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a family that adores her. Judy's memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace and that her love will forever be a guiding light in their lives.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held in the summer of 2025. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Memorial contributions in memory of Judy may be made to Lavigne Home for Compassionate Care.
