<p>David Andrew LaBarbera, 42, formerly of California, and a resident of Drums, Pa. died suddenly Wednesday, October 16th.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Long Beach, CA, he was the son of James Thomas and Linda Marie (Munson) LaBarbera.</p><p><br></p><p>David was a graduate of Western Christian Academy and UEI College. He was self-employed as a computer technician; offering computer repair and servicing along with IT consultation.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed bowling and watching movies. He liked all kinds of music and ran the sound system at his church in California. He also loved meeting new people and just spending time with family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>David formed a close bond with his eye doctors and was very grateful for how they helped and cared for him over his many visits.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his daughter Emily LaBarbera, wife Heidi LaBarbera, sister Jennifer LaBarbera, brother Ryan LaBarbera, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service will be held Friday November 1st at 7:00 PM at the Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home – Crematory, 530 West Butler Drive, Drums. David Grant, a minister and longtime friend of David will preside. Burial will take place in Pittsburg at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends and family are invited to visit the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 PM through the time of service.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, offering up prayers for the family would be much appreciated.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>August 18, 1982 - October 16, 202408/18/198210/16/2024
