<p>Stanley Edward Dzik, Age 85 of Oswego, IL, at rest peacefully on October 14, 2024, at Hillside Rehab and Care Center in Yorkville, IL. Stanley was born May 13, 1939, in Chicago, IL.</p><p><br></p><p>Stanley was a hardworking family man with his loving wife of 49 years. He was always fixing something or working on little projects around the house. When he wasn’t spending time with his loved ones Stanley was enjoying sports. He even was on the Cardinals Minor League Baseball team back in the day.</p><p><br></p><p>Stanley is survived by his wife Shirley nee Landow Dzik, daughter Tricia (Rob) Spadafore, son Steven (Christine) Dzik, grandchildren Matthew Spadafore, Ryan Spadafore, Charlottle Spadafore, Kyle Dzik, and Sydney Dzik, brother John Dzik, and sister Jeri Vincent.</p><p><br></p><p>Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Arlene Gusek.</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY on 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will follow at Risen Lord Catholic Cemetery, 1501 Simmons Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
