<p>Leslie Rae McCue, age 51, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Oct. 3rd, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.</p><p>Born May 8, 1973, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Lester McCue, who preceded her in death but raised by her loving mother, Sharon Lee (Trover) Gilmore and her beloved stepfather, whom she called dad, Ronald E. Gilmore.</p><p>Leslie was a graduate of Ne-Ca-Hi. She was employed as a supervisor at Bio-Test for over 20 years. Additionally, she was the owner and operator of L73 Custom Creations. Leslie loved crafting, kayaking, being outdoors and biking, even biking several times from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC. Most of all, she treasured the times she spent with her family, her friends, and her beloved dogs, “Molly” and “Finn”. Leslie was of the Christian faith.</p><p>Survivors include her mother, Sharon Lee (Trover) Gilmore and her partner John Ayers of New Castle, PA; two brothers, Dan H. McCue and his partner Jami Straley of New Castle, PA, and Sean E. (Stephenie) Gilmore of Westfield, NJ; one niece, Jensen McCue and her partner Joey Passerrello, two nephews, Nick McCue and Aidan Gilmore, and one great-niece, Stella.</p><p>In addition to her father, Leslie was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ronald E. Gilmore.</p><p>Visitation will be held on Mon. Oct. 7th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.</p><p>A funeral service will be held on Tues. Oct. 8th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.</p><p>Burial will be alongside her father, Ronald, at Oak Park Cemetery.</p><p>Online condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.cunninghamfh.com.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
