<p>Dolores L. (Faria) Cravenho, age 92 of Taunton, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of the late Alfred Cravenho. </p><p>Born in Taunton, MA, Dolores was the daughter of the late Antone & Theresa (Gracia)Faria. </p><p>Dolores worked at Spencer Thermostat in Attleboro prior to starting her family. Then when her children were older, she worked at the Dever State School as a clothing manager and as a direct care worker until retiring. </p><p>Dolores enjoyed traveling with her husband to many places. After retiring, they would spend winters in Florida. Following her husband’s passing she continued to travel with her brother Bob. </p><p>Aside from traveling, Dolores had many interests. She enjoyed knitting & crocheting. Over the years she taught many people how to do both. She also enjoyed playing cards, reading, bowling, arts & crafts, and making puzzles. She loved to watch movies on the Hallmark Channel and would always fill you in if you missed any. Her most favorite thing to do, was to spend time with her family celebrating the holidays, birthdays and special occasions. </p><p>Dolores volunteered for many years at Morton Hospital in the Patient Relations Department. She enjoyed spending time talking with the patients. She was a member of the Friends of the Taunton Public Library and Taunton Council on Aging. She was also a member of the Weir Seniors and Lakeville Golden Seniors prior to the closing of the clubs. </p><p>She is survived by her children, Steven and his wife Mary of E. Taunton, Donna Sullivan and her husband Francis of Oregon, Brian Cravenho of California, and Jean Cravenho and her partner Ada Rivera of Taunton, 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. </p><p>She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Emond and Theresa Rogers and her Brother Deacon Robert Faria. </p><p>Dolores is predeceased by her sister Margaret Cimino, her grandson Owen Francis Sullivan, and her great grandson Rowan James Riordan. </p><p>Dolores also wanted to thank her good friend Frances Davenport for always being there for her as well as her longtime neighbor and friend Connie Annunziato. </p><p>The family would like to thank everyone who cared for her at Life Care of Raynham. </p><p>Mrs. Cravenho’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church Kilmer Ave, Taunton. </p><p>Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. </p><p>Visiting hours will be held on, Monday, October 7th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
