<p>Leech, John “Brett” passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Hospice Niagara in St Catharines.</p><p><br></p><p>Brett grew up as a Texas cowboy on the family angus ranch “Lovejoy” in Rockdale, Texas. He was extremely athletic playing sports such as football, basketball, and baseball which he even coached his son in.</p><p><br></p><p>He came to Canada in June of 2010 settling in St Catharines. He was a specialized diesel mechanic working for Metro &amp; Premier.</p><p><br></p><p>Brett is survived by his wife Melissa. Children Logan and Braden in Texas Graycen (Leon) (Jan) of Toronto. Shelby (Hayden) and Savannah of St Catharines. Siblings Kevin (Kerri), Ronnye &amp; Bretts twin sister Annette (Tony). Mother-in-law Carol Howard. As well as many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Brett is predeceased by brother Randy (2022) Father-in-law Wayne Howard (2020). Parents Sue (2015) &amp; Ralph (2013)</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Service will take place on Friday, October 4th, 2024 at 1pm at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral homes (3277 King St., Vineland) with visitation an hour before hand beginning at 12 noon.
