<p>Lorraine (Derouin) Kowalczyk , 102, of North Andover passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years Edward, her sister Ramona Lombardi and brother Roland Derouin. Lorraine was born August 7, 1922, in Lawrence, MA to the late Adrien and Blanche (Boie) Derouin.</p><p><br></p><p>She attended and graduated from Sacred Heart Grammar and High Schools. Following high school, she went to work for Haffner Oil until her retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine and her family enjoyed spending summers at their lakeshore home in New Hampshire.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her niece Gloria Mendes and husband James of Wareham, nephews Richard Derouin and his wife Kim of Tennessee and Robert Lombardi and his husband Erik of South Carolina.</p><p><br></p><p>Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the Visiting Angels of Newburyport, especially her live -in caregivers Misty and Renee for their patience, kindness and caring and all her Angels for the past four years.</p><p><br></p><p>We would also like to express our gratitude to her wonderful neighbors for their love and support since the passing of her husband.</p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, October 7,2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Michaels Church 196 Main St. North Andover.
