<p>Maryann Washco was born in Philadelphia in 1934, the daughter of the late Dr. Alec and Rose Washco.</p><p>She passed on September 28, 2024.</p><p>Maryann married H. Donovan Seaton of Chattanooga, TN, and resided in NYC. Later, as a widow, she returned to Philadelphia to spend her later years with her family and friends in Delaware County and Philadelphia.</p><p>She attended Temple University and the New York School of Interior Design. As a Philadelphia Public Relations Specialist, she founded and managed Trade Winds Associates Public Relations and Advertising. One of her favorite positions was serving as the Public Relations Director of the Philadelphia Grand Opera-which included the publication of The Grand Opera News and the organization and hosting of all social and fundraising events. Maryann also established VASCO, a company which focused on international public relations as well as the design, manufacturing and importation of women's fashion designs and cosmetics.</p><p>She was the beloved sister to Alice Strine (husband Walter), brother Alec Washco (wife Helen), devoted aunt to Andrew (Jennifer), and Daniel (Terri), a nephew Cole, and nieces Jillian and Ainsley.</p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to join in the celebration of her Mass at 11 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Nativity BVM Church, 30 E. Franklin St. Media, visitation 10-10:45, interment SS Peter & Paul cemetery, Springfield, Pa.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maryann's memory to Rosewood Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, 146 Marple Road, Broomall Pa., 19008.
