<p>Robert “Bob” L. Nosal, 76, of Bloomer, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System–Bloomer with his wife at his side.</p><p><br></p><p>Bob was born January 14, 1948, in Barnesville, MN, the son of Louie and Elaine (Moll) Nosal. He attended Bloomer and Barnesville Schools and later married Mary Kay (Rubenzer) at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer on May 23, 1970.</p><p>Bob attended Barber School at CVTC in Eau Claire, WI and opened his own barbershop in Bloomer. He also worked for and retired from A-1 Excavating of Bloomer.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.</p><p>Bob loved being with his family. He enjoyed camping in his motorhome, horseback riding, playing cards, bowling and dancing. He was a guitar player and loved music.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Kay; his daughters, Amy (Curt) Beilke of Hayward WI, Katie (Ken) Wilmer of Eden Prairie, MN; five grandchildren, Morgan (Joe) Dostal, Brock Beilke, Emma Beilke, Bennett Wilmer, and Asher Wilmer; one sister, Judy (Jim) Rubenzer; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Elaine Nosal; and one brother, Edward (at infancy).</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer with Father Victor Feltes celebrating the Mass. Inurnment will follow the mass at St. Paul’s North Catholic Cemetery in Bloomer. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral mass from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Thompson Funeral Home &amp; Chippewa Valley Cremation Services in Bloomer is serving the family.</p><p><br></p>
