<p>Charlotte Ann (Polovich) Babuchna, 78, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 in New Orleans, LA. </p><p><br></p><p>A native of Biloxi, MS, Charlotte was a graduate of Biloxi High School in 1964. Charlotte became the regional vice president with A.L. Williams Insurance and Investments, she also taught macrame and ceramics to senior citizens at Dukate Senior Center. She also worked as the secretary at Quality Home Health Care until her retirement. Charlotte was a devoted lifelong catholic with true faith in her Savior Jesus Christ, and lived her life accordingly. Charlotte and Harrell are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a beautiful soul full of grace, integrity and strength. She loved big and with all her heart. Her love will be carried on through many generations. She was devoted to her family in every way. Harrell and Charlotte were proud and happy to have all four grandchildren ride the school bus home to their house for many years where they had good snacks waiting for them, played games and they were spoiled with love. She also enjoyed playing cards, dominoes with friends and family and she was all about family gatherings. Being around her loved ones is what truly made her happy. Until we meet again momma, your sweet spirit and memory will be with us always! </p><p><br></p><p>Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents Matre and Dorothy Romero Polovich, brother: Jerry Polovich, grandparents: Vincent and Lucille Polovich, Edward and Edith Romero. Father-in-law John Babuchna and mother-in-law Alma Babuchna. Brother-in-law and sister-in-laws: John and Rose Babuchna, Robert and Brenda Raynor, Dee and Mary Desrosiers, Brother-in-law: Thomas Winterstein, nephew: Bubba Winterstein, great-niece: Emma Lynn Lee. Aunts and Uncles: Steve and Jean Brosh and John and Delores Radich. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her loving husband of 58 blessed years, Harrell Babuchna. Children: Michelle (Lea) Bailey, Michael (Stacey) Babuchna. siblings: Gail (Ronnie) Polovich McDonald, Matt (Candy) Polovich. Grandchildren: Amanda (Justin) Cox Hayball, Ryan (Courtney) Cox, Carter Bailey, and Jack Bailey. Great-grandchildren: Shepard Hayball, Seoul Hayball, and Forrest Hayball. Along with many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also survived by lifelong best friends whom were family: Bobbie and Larry Bouchie from Lebanon, OH and special friends close to her heart: Spencer and Donna Bailey. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to extend a heart felt thanks to the MICU unit at University Medical Center in New Orleans for their efforts in caring for her with such compassion and professionalism.
