<p><p>Troy Tucker, age 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Corewell Health Blodgett in East Grand Rapids.</p><p><br></p><p>Troy loved all things that went fast. His love for speed and passion for racing were the hallmarks of his vibrant life. Troy found joy in the roar of engines, whether they belonged to drag cars, stock cars, or dirt track racers. His ability to work on cars and make them go faster was not just a hobby but a testament to his skill and dedication, something he learned from his dad. </p><p><br></p><p>Troy leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Cheri Tucker; his daughter, Leilani (Todd) Alexander; and his cherished granddaughter, Linnia. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Jerry (Howell) Tucker. </p><p><br></p><p>A private family memorial service is being planned for a later date.</p><p><br></p></p>September 18, 1953 - September 29, 202409/18/195309/29/2024
