<p>Edward Vellega, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2024. Devoted husband of Violet, nee Marczynski; loving father of Isabella Vellega; dearest son of Pasquale and the late Italia (nee Loreto) Vellega, and loving son in law of Jadwiga and the late Richard Marczynski; dear brother of Fabio and Vince Vellega and brother in law of Renzo (the late Maggie) Ettorre; fond uncle and dear friend of many.&nbsp;<br></p><p><br></p><p>Visitation Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
