<p>Elizabeth "Betty" Marek, 89, was born in Chicago to Anton and Josephine (Penca) Dolinar. She passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty will be remembered as the devoted wife of Wally for 65 years of marriage. Most of their married life was spent living in Westchester, IL and Naperville, IL until they moved to Golden Years of Walworth, WI 8 years ago.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Mom was an amazing cook, with many family favorite recipes passed down to her children. She discovered her passion for creating stunning floral arrangements later in life, and "Betty's Bows" was an annual event that she shared with her friends at Golden Years.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty is survived by her children Barbara (David) Taylor, Bob (Diane) Marek, Joanne (Dave) Prudden, and Tom (Torye) Marek; grandchildren Bobby Marek, Scott (Samantha) Prudden, Joe (Paige) Prudden, Amy (Jason) Tippy, Randy (Jessica) Prudden, and Nicki Marek; great grandchildren Blake, Francine, Charlie, Leo, Maddie, Owen, Penelope, Warren, Quinn, and Mila; as well as her brother Tony Dolinar.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Marek and sister-in-law Joan Dolinar.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial Services will be private for immediate family.</p><p><br></p><p>For more information call Toynton Funeral Home at 262-275-2171.</p>September 23, 202409/23/2024
