<p>Larry James Martin passed away on September 18th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 14th, 1956, to James and Cora Martin in Rochester, New York, he moved to California at a young age. Larry graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA, in 1975. He was a passionate music enthusiast/collector and avid sports fan, always cheering for his beloved teams: the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Lakers. Over the past decade, he dedicated himself to public service as a bus driver, forming lasting connections with many passengers who cherished his kindness. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know him. </p><p>Larry leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 years, Lori Martin; his children, Alison Martin and Melanie Cathey; grandchildren, Lynnwood and Evangeline Cathey; his sister, Donna Grigsby; and nieces Megan Titus and Heather Grigsby.
