<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna L. Sichette, who departed this life on September 13, 2024, at the age of 61. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 4, 1962, Donna lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna attended Patterson High School in Baltimore, MD, where she cultivated lifelong friendships and began her journey towards a fulfilling life. On March 24, 1982, she married the love of her life, Samuel Sichette Jr., in Baltimore, MD. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared many wonderful years.</p><p><br></p><p>A devoted school bus driver for the City of Virginia Beach for 18 years, Donna took immense pride in her work. She loved being a school bus driver and cherished the children she transported every day. Donna found joy in watching siblings grow up, starting and ending their school journeys with her.</p><p><br></p><p>Outside of her professional life, Donna had a passion for bingo and enjoyed bargain and thrift store shopping. However, it was her grandchildren who brought the greatest joy to her life, always making her smile.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leslie Carver and Mary Plowman. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Sichette Jr.; her children, Christopher Sichette, Leslie Sichette, Brianna Sichette, and Samuel Sichette III; and her dear grandchildren, Alexandra Heath, Isacc Sichette, Phoenix Sichette, Stefan Sichette, Zachary Sichette, Samuel Sichette IV, Victoria Baker-Sichette, and Damien Albrow Jr. Donna also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Sharon and Karen, and her brothers, Mark and Randy.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service in Donna's honor will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, located at 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA, on September 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman who touched so many lives with her kindness, dedication, and love.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.
