<p>Charlene S. Illig, age 74, of North East, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born in Erie on July 18, 1950, daughter of the late Vance and Agnes Danielson.</p><p><br></p><p>Charlene attended Wattsburg High School. She was employed as a cashier at the North East True Value Hardware Store. Charlene enjoyed cooking, crocheting and quilting. She especially treasured time spent with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Charlene was married to her high school sweetheart for 57 years, Joseph Illig, who survives her. She is further survived by two children, James Illig and Jason Illig (Phyllis); one sister, Cheri Danielson; four grandchildren, Nichole Martin (Zachary), Sara Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell (Katie) and Christopher Baker; two great-grandsons, Greyson and Elliot; and nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral and Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Thursday, September 19th, from 3 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday, September 20th, at 11 am conducted by Rev.
