<p>Jo-Ann Howell, 69, of Kresgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, at home surrounded by her family.</p><p> </p><p>Jo-Ann was a former volunteer for the Pleasant Valley Sport's Club, a member of the Indian Mountain Rod and Gun Club, the Audubon Society, and the West End Democratic Association. Jo-Ann also volunteered her time with the former Chem Free Party at the Pleasant Valley High School for graduating students. In her free time, she loved traveling around the world to numerous countries and other parts of the United States. She had a true passion for nature, and always enjoyed taking care of the birds, butterflies, bees, and native plants and trees of the surrounding area. Jo-Ann had a special place in her heart for animals, helping stray cats, and adored all of her dogs that she owned over the years. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved friends and family. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Jo-Ann will be deeply missed by all her loving family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Jo-Ann is survived by a son, Mark Versuk of Kresgeville; a daughter, Natisha Versuk of Sewaren, NJ; a brother, Tom Howell; three grandchildren: Juliana, Mercedes, Raylynn; and her beloved dog, Ollie. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her loving mother, Delphine (Johnson) Howell, a sister, Ellen Ginder, a brother, Terry Howell; and her beloved dogs, Jack and Kiki. </p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jason Vanderburg officiating. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.</p><p><br></p><p>Guests are welcome to join the family at the Poll Twp.
