<p>Sharon Louise Price, 83, passed away on September 01, 2024 surrounded by her loving family in Wheeling, IL. </p><p>Sharon was born on January 16, 1941 in Dolton, IL to parents George J. and Dorothy S. Jones.</p><p><br></p><p>Sharon grew up in Richmond, Illinois and graduated from Richmond Burton Community High School in 1959.</p><p>After marrying Jack McNish, they bought a home in McHenry, where she became part of the community</p><p>fabric, volunteering at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, and on the High</p><p>School Booster Club. She worked for over 20 years as a school bus driver for the McHenry School Districts 15</p><p>and 156.</p><p><br></p><p>She married Walter (Joe) Price on May 29 th , 1982 and they were married for 37 years until his passing in</p><p>October 2019. They enjoyed many years of camping and boating in Indiana on the weekends, and many</p><p>friends and family would join them there.</p><p><br></p><p>Sharon is survived by her children: Cheryl Parker, Jeff (Trudy) McNish, Mike (Robyn) McNish, and Brad McNish;</p><p>her grandchildren: Phoebe Parker, Kayla Parker, Ashley (Jordan) Wilson, Brittany (Robert) Hutchinson, Dylan</p><p>McNish, Alexa (Conor) Sweeney, Olivia McNish, Eliza (Aaron) Stewart, Michael (Sam) McNish, Breanna McNish,</p><p>and Maura McNish; her 9 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Carol (late Ron) Steadman.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her first husband: John "Jack" McNish; her second husband: Walter "Joe" Price;</p><p>her parents: George J. and Dorothy S. Jones; and her siblings: Dorothy Block and Len (Sylvi) Jones.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12 th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral</p><p>Home in McHenry, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 13 th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of</p><p>the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry, IL.</p>January 16, 1941 - September 1, 202401/16/194109/01/2024
