Please click on “visit website” where you will be redirected to the donation page..<br></p><p><br></p><p>“La Famiglia e’ Tutto”<br></p><p></p><p>Salvatore (Sal) Scuderi lived a beautiful life with his beloved partner, Ann Marie McTernan, his Bella. He was a loving father to his three children, Donna (Timothy) Conway, Frank Scuderi and Allison (Robin) DePesa. Grandpa/Pops was adored by his three grandchildren, James Conway, Christina Conway (Nick Preller) and Nicholas Salvatore DePesa, and cherished by his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Anne Pantaleo</p><p><br></p><p>Sal was born in New York City, the son of Mary & Frank Scuderi who immigrated from Italy. Mary a dressmaker – referred to as Mary #10 and Frank, a shoemaker, only spoke English at home as they wanted both Sal and his sister to live the American dream.</p><p><br></p><p>Sal had a highly active childhood growing up on 236th St in the Bronx. It was in this neighborhood that he received his first nickname by his Irish Friends- “Sally O’Malley.”</p><p><br></p><p>At the age of 18, Sal joined the Navy. After his service he attended the College of Insurance evening classes and received his MBA. This began his career in insurance and the beginning of his mom’s dream for him to be successful.</p><p>He eventually moved to Long Island and became a member of Brookville Country Club where he served as President from 2004- 2005. He loved to play golf and travel. Besides Europe, his favorite trip was to the Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas.</p><p><br></p><p>Sal was a true gentleman. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a great listener.</p><p>His family and friends find comfort that his Legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the unconditional love he shared & the memories we will cherish forever.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>In remembrance of Sal, the family requests donations to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.</p>
