<p>Sarah Louise Lyke, 42 of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital with her family by her side.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born on November 13, 1981, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of Gary and Connie (Morris) Cooper of Beech Bottom, WV.</p><p><br></p><p>Sarah is preceded in death by one sister, Heather Marie Liddington on May 25, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Sarah graduated from Brooke High School Class of 1999 and went on to West Liberty State College to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2004. She was a member of The Foundery Church in Wellsburg, WV and formerly worked for Wesbanco Bank as an accounting clerk; Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe as a general ledger analyst and currently as a secretary treasurer of accounting at the Foundery Church. She loved donkeys and enjoyed playing volleyball, reading, and watching Big Brother, Survivor and Yellowstone but most of all she loved spending time with her husband and son.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents Sarah is survived by her beloved husband Eugene Lyke at home; one son Gage Lyke at home; two sisters, Amanda Cooper of Wellsburg, WV, Annette (Mark) Roberts of Short Creek, WV; her mother-in-law, Annabelle Lyke of Wellsburg, WV; a brother in law, Bob Lyke of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters-in-law, Kim Spear of Wellsburg, WV and Janet (Jason) Long of Colliers, WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering and Service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at The Foundery Church 1340 Washington Pike Wellsburg, WV 26070 with Pastor Hal Haire officiating.</p><p>Inurnment will be held privately.</p><p>Memorial contributions can be made to Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.</p><p>Condolences may be sent on www.mullenbachfh.com</p><p><br></p>November 13, 1981 - September 1, 202411/13/198109/01/2024
