<p>Karen Lee Johnson Urich of Republic, MO., passed into Heaven on August 29, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Through-out her 82 years on earth, Karen was known as a selfless encourager of others and volunteer. Karen’s deep love for Jesus, was best displayed through her servant heart towards all those who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>Just as Karen truly relied on her Heavenly Father and the promises in His Word. We, her family and friends, turn our grief over Karen’s sudden passing to rejoicing. Knowing Karen is now in Paradise with her Savior Jesus and many beloved family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Karen was known as a devoted and loving wife to Don Einar Johnson, for 44 years. Followed by 11 years of marriage to Pastor Gary Urich. In addition to being a steadfast Christian wife, Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Karen loved gospel music, a Bible based sermon and church. As an avid basketball fan, Karen enjoyed shooting-hoops with youngsters and supported all levels and ages of the game. She appreciated a good farmers market and sharing her fresh produce finds with friends and neighbors. </p><p><br></p><p>Join us in celebrating Karen on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Crossway Baptist Church, 2900 N. Barnes Avenue in Springfield, MO. A Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am with a Memorial Service beginning at 10:00am with Pastor Eddie Bumpers officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral in Springfield, Missouri.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please direct a donation of support, prayers or volunteering to a ministry dear to Karen’s heart at</p><p>Freeway Ministries, Inc., 1041 W.
