<p>Doris Jean Brennan, 88, Sandusky, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, in the Commons of Providence Memory Care.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born in Fremont, on October 19, 1935, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1953.</p><p><br></p><p>Doris was employed as a teacher’s aide for the Perkins School District, at Meadowlawn School.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky, the Sandusky Eagles, AAPSE, Bay Area Friends of Abused Children, the Red Hats Society, and Grandmother’s Club.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her sons, Glenn Allen Brennan Jr., Thomas Harold (Julia) Brennan, Jon Arthur (Laurie) Brennan, and Scott Edward (Carole) Brennan; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Mac Nott, Dale Nott, and Hugh Nott; several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. “Buzz” Brennan Sr.; parents, Thomas and Bertha (Taylor) Klein; her biological father, Charles Nott; sisters, Dea Martin, Jeannette Bozsoki, and Naomi Carver; and a brother Charlie Nott.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Michael Conklin will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Contributions may be made to Bay Area Friends of Abused Children, 247 Columbus Ave., Unit 319, Sandusky, OH 44870.
