<p>Frank Adolph Kosar, 85, passed away peacefully August 3, 2024 at his home in Cornell, WI.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born August 28, 1938 to Adolph and Martha (Rossow) Kosar in the township of Colburn, WI. Frank was the second of 11 children. He grew up on the family farm and attended East Riverside Grade School. His grandpa, Albert Kosar, taught him how to drive trucks, and he began hauling milk at the age of 15. Frank later moved to Belvidere, IL, where he drove a semi-truck for Carnation Farms.</p><p><br></p><p>On New Year's Eve in 1959 he married Betty Kaehler in Belvidere. Frank and Betty would have celebrated their 65th&nbsp;wedding anniversary this year. His passion for trucks and hard work inspired him to pursue his own trucking business in Dallas, Texas - Rite-Way Trucking, Inc. Later he purchased farmland in the Cornell area where he spent several months of the year farming and hunting. He was active with the Western Bohemian Fraternal Association Historical Marker Lodge #141 for which his great-grandfather, Frank Kosar, was the founding member and first president of the hall. Frank was very proud of his Bohemian heritage.</p><p><br></p><p>Frank is survived by his wife, Betty, of Grand Prairie, TX, sons: Robert, of Canton, TX, David, of Irving, TX, Timothy (Amanda), of Greenwood, WI, daughter, Julie (James) Moore of Barry, TX, step-daughter, Debby Sigafus of Adams, WI, grandchildren: Christopher, James, Katelyn, Cameron, Jason, Kristi, Robert, David, Bethany, Lauren, Hannah, step-grandchildren: Natasha and Natalie, 20 great grandchildren, sisters: Margaret Kosar of St. Paul, MN, Loretta Heian of Chippewa Falls, WI, Judy (Roger) Kubera of Colfax, WI, Joyce Freeman of Stanley, WI,&nbsp; and 24 nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Frank was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, John Matera, grandson, Kenneth Kosar, daughter-in-law, Tina Kosar, brother, Kenneth Kosar, sisters: Betty Kosar, Ruth Berchem, Dorothy Voit, Jane Telisczak and Shirley Oyama.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Frank on Sunday, September 1st, 5:00-7:00 PM, at Sweeney's Y Go By Bar, Hwy 27, Cornell, WI. To honor Frank's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
