<p>To view the service, <a href="//view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTcyNTQ4MDkzMjMyNjczMSZvbmVyb29tLWFkbWluJmNvcHlfbGluaw==">please click here</a>.</p><p><br></p><p>It is with great sadness that the family of Leona Joy Allan announces her sudden passing July 4, 2024, at the age of 64 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Her memory will continue to live on in her husband of 22 years, Rod Allan; her son, Lyall (Jen) Collins; sister, Berna (Ian Wilson) Stewart; stepson, Matt (Erin) Allan; sister-in-law, Andrea Allan; brother-in-law, Randy Allan (Barb); grandchildren, Owen, Jackson, Connor, and Emma; and many other family members, friends, and colleagues.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Leona began life on the farm in Salmon Arm, BC, and did her high school years in Victoria and post-secondary education at BCIT. Following a long career, much of it spent at NAIT, Leona was just beginning to enjoy retirement. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her flower garden and watching wildlife; spending time with her many friends and grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Leona’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at <a href="//www.connelly-mckinley.com/locations/edmonton-south">Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Funeral Home</a>.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leona’s memory to <a href="//wildnorth.ca/support/donate/">WILDNorth: Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue &amp; Rehabilitation</a>.</p><p><br></p><p>Our time on Earth may be short, but our memories last forever.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements entrusted to Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel.</p><p><br></p>
