<p>Clarence “Roger” Dale Bell, 80, beloved husband of Reba Ann Bell, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on November 18, 1943, in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Clarence Charles Bell and the late Multry Lavone Springs Bell. In his younger years, Mr. Bell enjoyed fishing and traveling to the mountains. He had a great love for his family and friends and cherished each moment he was able to spend with them. Mr. Bell was a member of Georgetown First Assembly of God.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Scott Bell (Sherry) of Georgetown, Kimberly Ann Sheffield (Beau) of Georgetown, and Stella Michelle Johnson (Jamie) of Georgetown; seven grandchildren, Kayra Owens, Paige Cooper, Matthew Bell, Sailor Sheffield, Hunter Johnson, Cash Johnson and Hawkins Johnson; four great grandchildren, Hudson Owens, Estelle McLean, Colton Johnson and Emberlynn Cooper; one sister, Mellie B. Stone of Newport, TN; one brother, Glenn Bell of Johnsonville; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles William Bell and Joseph E. Bell, Sr.: three sisters, Mildred Johnson, Grace Curry and Bobbie Owens. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Georgetown First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Georgetown First Assembly of God.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be made to Georgetown First Assembly of God, 331 St. James St. Georgetown, SC 29440.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be left at www.ridgewayfh.com </p><p><br></p><p>Ridgeway Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
