<br>Beverly A. Sohrweide (nee Stockey), age 87 of West Bend (formerly Richfield), Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at New Perspective, in the care, love, and comfort of her family.<div><p><br></p>Beverly was born December 28, 1936 in Duluth, Minnesota to Ione Hope (nee Sybrandt) and Roy Stockey. Beverly graduated Riverside High School in Milwaukee where she enjoyed playing the piano and French horn, attending band camps, and running track. She was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Sohrweide on August 31, 1957, in Milwaukee, WI. Together they resided in Richfield, WI for over 60 years. She worked for the Wisconsin Auto Museum in Hartford, retiring at the age of 78. Beverly enjoyed singing, playing the piano, reading- especially the Bible, genealogy, speaking French and reciting many favorite expressions, swimming, painting, and was very supportive of her husband, Ken’s endeavors and interests, including history. She will be remembered as an amazing well-organized Mom, who was very encouraging of her children, grandchildren, and others. She loved Jesus and enjoyed being active in her church.</div><div><p><br></p>Beverly is survived by her loving children, Paul (Debe) Sohrweide of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Lynn Adams of Indianola, IA, Craig Sohrweide Madison, WI, and Mark (Linda) Sohrweide of Cedar Grove, WI; cherished grandchildren, Wes, Lance, Annbra, Aaron, Shawna, Haylie, Riley, Tahara, Tracie, Jesse, Brianna, Alyssa, Danielle, Brittany, and Zachary as well as all of her cherished great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol (Don) Stoldt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.</div><div> <br>She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Richard and Myrtle (nee Fiedler) Sohrweide; beloved husband, Ken; and son-in-law, Kurt Adams.</div><div> <br>Funeral services for Beverly will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, 12 12:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford, WI 53027) with Rev. George Lessmann officiating. Family greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m.</div><div><p><br></p>Following services, a light luncheon will be held with committal to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Cemetery, 3530 Pioneer Road, Richfield, WI 53076.<br></div>December 28, 1936 - August 1, 202412/28/193608/01/2024
