<p>Valerie Elizabeth Siegel </p><p><br></p><p> (November 29, 1957- July 8, 2024)</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Valerie Elizabeth Siegel (neé Scott), beloved wife of 34 years to Kenneth David Siegel, mother of Maxwell Scott Siegel of New York and Abigail Mae Siegel of East Falls PA, passed away suddenly on July 8th, 2024 leaving an incredible void in both her immediate family members and any whose lives she touched.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Valerie was born in Mt Holly, New Jersey to Ervin and Gloria Scott. She was raised in Moorestown NJ with her three siblings, Joe Scott (Nancy), Phyllis Scott Hurdleston (Chris), and Richard Scott (Ann). Valerie attended St. Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania where she studied food marketing. She had a successful career at Proctor &amp; Gamble where she worked for 37 years as a renowned Sales Manager. Since retiring in 2016, Valerie had become passionate about golf, pickleball, platform tennis, painting, and travel. Valerie</p><p><br></p><p>was a bright light in any setting- she was full of optimism and had a strong love for life.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Valerie is predeceased by both of her parents. She is survived by her husband, two children, three siblings, and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 767 Prospect St. Maplewood on Friday, July 12th at 4:00 PM.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Valerie’s name to either the Book Buddies Program with the United Way of Northern New Jersey</p><p><br></p><p>(unitedwaynnj.org) or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America</p><p><br></p><p>(myasthenia.org).</p>
