<p>Henry Gnatowski, 94, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, June 20, 2024. He was the loving husband of the late Claire (Gagnon) Gnatowski for 61 beautiful years; they were inseparable. Born in Natrona, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Valerian and Catherine (Jakubowski) Gnatowski.</p><p><br></p><p>For many years Henry worked for General Dynamics as a Crane Operator, he always enjoyed telling stories about his adventures while on the Tallest Crane. Henry enjoyed creating woodwork in his workshop such as swinging bench chairs, remodeling, and toys for his grandchildren. Henry was never seen without a camera around his neck. He would take thousands of photos during every outing and then print them for all to view on his computer.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry enjoyed &amp; is most proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them grow and laugh, attending their various sports games whether it was Hockey, Softball or Soccer games. He enjoyed spending time with them and photographing all that they do.</p><p><br></p><p>Everyone loved meeting Henry because they would always leave with a smile and a few laughs. Henry was never in a terrible mood because he was always surrounded by his favorite people in this world, his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry is survived by his children, Valerie Jones and Michael (Sharon) Gnatowski; grandchildren, Danielle, Johnny (Nichole), Matthew, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Connor, Ryan, Scarlett, Jasmine, Kayden, and Kaylise; and sisters, Theresa Ziemianski, Sylvia (Joseph) Sells, and Rose Marie (Joseph) Zawioski.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry is predeceased by his sisters Veronica Balash and Marcella Gnatowski; and by his brother Stanley Gnatowski.</p><p>We believe Henry wants to be remembered by all of the fun times he has spent with everyone, all the times he has made you laugh, or when you’ve told him something silly and he makes one of his eyebrow faces.</p><p><br></p><p>Services for Henry will be private.
