<p>James "Troll" Daniel Costa, Jr, 65, of Cumberland, MD was finally called home after a very courageous battle with cancer on June 20, 2024 while at his home with his family. </p><p><br></p><p>He was born in Baltimore, MD on January 28, 1959 to the late James and Johnnie (Workman) Costa Sr. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by a sister, Sue Ober. </p><p><br></p><p>Troll worked as a plumber and also at a nuclear power plant. He was smart and funny, and in his prime always ready to travel across the country at any time. He had a passion for anything with an engine, especially motorcycles and old cars, and he was active in their communities. </p><p><br></p><p>He loved golden retrievers, especially the best one that has existed, ever, Chyenne. </p><p><br></p><p>Troll is survived by his sister, Karen Naomi Eveler of Cumberland; as well as his many friends. </p><p><br></p><p>In the hopes of stopping cancer for good, his body was donated to medical science and then he will be cremated. </p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of his life will be planned soon, and likely take place in September 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. is assisting the family. </p><p> </p>
