<p>Age 95 of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Karl Robert Black and the late Geza G. Zold. Loving mother of Chalmer (Lou Ann) Black, Robb (Patti) Black, and Jeffrey (Judi) Black. Devoted grandmother to Jeffrey Joseph (Bethany) Black, Julie (Justin) Prestidge, Jennifer (Samuel) Raneri, Steven (Joellah) Black, and James Ross (Kourtney) Black; and great-grandmother of 13. Also survived by her brother, Rolland "Ron" (Norie) Breth; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Robert and Florence Elzora (Paul) Breth; and sisters, Audrey Capusta and Doris Knox. </p><p>In addition to being a mother and creative homemaker who loved to sew and cook, she was a lifelong learner in her professional life. She progressed to become the executive Director of the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce for more than a decade, and then worked into her 70's with economic development in western Pennsylvania. One highlight of Rickie's professional career was her involvement with the Rotary Club of Monroeville, where she was able to interact with many business leaders in serving the community together. </p><p>If you were ever sitting at a bridge table with Rickie, you definitely wanted her as a partner! One gentleman liked being her partner so much that he proposed to her 12 years after her first husband died of cancer, and they were married. Geza was a wonderful man who had been born in Budapest, Hungary. They enjoyed many trips to Hungary and the rest of Europe. </p><p>Family and friends will be received Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 2:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME &amp; CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Burial will be private at Jefferson Memorial Park.
