<p>(Pat Stewart) Patricia Ann Hunt Stewart, 76, wife of Barry Stewart, of Anderson, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Fort Valley, Georgia, on September 5, 1947, she was raised in the neighboring town of Roberta, Georgia, and was a daughter of the late Floyd Hunt, and the late Ruth Chandler Hunt. </p><p><br></p><p>While attending Georgia Southwestern State University, Pat met her future husband, Barry. They married in 1968 and enjoyed 56 years together. She was a wonderful cook and loved to spend quality time with her family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>For 40 years, she was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church in Anderson, and was a retired accountant with Flour-Daniel Construction Company. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband, Barry Stewart, her daughter, Sonya Ayer (Chris), her son, Joe Stewart (Anita), her grandchildren, Sarah Ayer, Matthew Ayer, Sydney Stewart, Will Stewart, and Ethan Stewart. </p><p><br></p><p>She is also survived by her sisters, Angelo Terrell, Martha Jean Snelling (Bill), and Beth Alday (Royce), her brother, Terry Hunt (Pam), and several nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Isaac Stewart, and her brother, Ronald Hunt. </p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends on Monday evening, May 20, 2024, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625. </p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Forest Hill Baptist Church, 909 Plantation Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29621. Rev.
