<p>It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Socorro D. Baca, who departed us on May 13, 2024 at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family in her final moments. A memorial mass service will be held at Our Lady of Tepeyac on Friday May 17, 2024 at noon.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a vibrant woman with infectious laugh who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Socorro truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; travel adventures with her sister Josefina, caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, family cookouts and parties especially dancing, and going to the casino.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband Rafael Baca, Sr. Her children Alberto (Toni), Rosalba, Norma, Rafael Jr. (Grace), and Sandra (John). Her grandchildren Babette, Elena, Albert Jr, Lillie, Maya, Joey, Leon, Xochitl, Jasmine, Martika, Davie, Sophia, and Charles. Her great grandchildren Madison, Max, Nathan, Kassandra, Niasha, Desiree, Devontae, Samarya, Roselle. Her great-great grandchildren Valentina and Zamira. She will be remembered for her beautiful presence and fiery spirit that served to strengthen her family.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents (Jose and Manuela), her siblings (Salvador, Antonia, Victor), and her grandchild Belen and her beloved dog Bliss Chiquita.</p>December 16, 1937 - May 13, 202412/16/193705/13/2024
