<p>John Paul Donnelly, Jr., 79, of Collings Lakes, NJ, affectionally know as Pop; passed away on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>John was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to the late John P. and Mary Donnelly. John was a graduate of the Father Judge High School, Class of 1962. After high school, he attended technical school, then moved into the construction field, and eventually, retired from Philadelphia Gas Works after 34 years. After retiring, John began his most rewarding career as a stay at home “Pop” where he cared for his grandchildren that he adored each and every day.</p><p><br></p><p>John will be especially missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (Ade); his sons, Bill and his wife Erica and Paul and his wife Michelle; along with his grandchildren, Brianna, Rachael, Ryan, Billy Jr, Johnny, Amanda and Randy Jr.</p><p>John is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert Ade; and by his extended family Randy and Cheryl Knapp, along with Mildred and Philip Ronca, his best friends of 55 years; Chuck and Maryanne DeSantis; and furry grandchildren, Sadie and Chloe Donnelly. John is also survived by Karen, his daughter.</p><p><br></p><p>John will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 19 Malaga Rd, Collings Lakes, New Jersey 08094. Arrangements are under the care of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, P.O.
