<p>Dr. Robert M. Nichols, Jr. </p><p><br></p><p>Dr. Robert M. Nichols, Jr., (Bob), &nbsp;64, of Harrisburg, died Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hershey Medical Center.</p><p><br></p><p>Robert was born in Kingston, PA and was the son of the late Robert and Barbara Nichols. &nbsp;He was the Director of Mental Health Services at PrimeCare Medical. Bob retired as a Deputy Warden from Berks County Prison. &nbsp;He was a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. &nbsp;Bob was a true 49ers and Red Sox fan. He was an avid historian and collector of flags. </p><p><br></p><p>Robert is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Nichols; his daughter, Megan (Mark) Fackler; his sons, Keegan (Ashley) Frawley and Cailean "Colin" Nichols; his granddaughters, Tenley and Isla; his sister, Cindy Nichols; his niece, Lauren Haskins; his nephew, Nicholas (Taylor) Haskins.</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg. &nbsp;Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery following the service.</p><p><br></p><p>A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church, prior to the Mass.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to Vista Autism Services, 1021 Springboard Dr, Hershey, PA 17033.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are by the Hoover Funeral Homes &amp; Crematory, Inc., Harrisburg.</p><p><br></p><p>Online Condolences may be left at www.hooverfuneralhome.com .</p><p><br> </p>
