<p>Charles L. Kane, age 71 of Chestnuthill Township, Saylorsburg, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital Monroe Campus in Stroudsburg, PA.</p><p>Charles was the loving husband of Patricia (Gajkowski) Kane. They celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary on July 31st.</p><p>He was born in Plainfield, NJ on November 6, 1952, son of the late Benson W. and Shirley (Coon) Kane.</p><p>Charles was the owner and operator of Kane & Sons, Inc. Saylorsburg, PA since 1984.</p><p>Charles was very proud to specialize in copper and metal roofing. He mentored many family and friends in the installation of both copper and metal roofs.</p><p>Charles loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and boating.</p><p>We have been blessed with the presence of Charles in our lives. He will be missed by his wife: Patricia (Gajkowski) Kane of Saylorsburg, PA, his children: Casey Donahue and wife Krystal of Bel Air, MD, Christopher Kane and wife Deanna Roberts of Saylorsburg, PA and Michael Kane of Saylorsburg, PA.</p><p>He was the loving grandfather to: Nathaniel, Dylan, Molly, Lana, Shay and Troy.</p><p>Charles is also survived by his siblings: Benson Kane and wife Sunny of Las Vegas, NV, Donald Kane and wife Lorrie of Yardley, PA, Marilyn Petto Clark and husband Kevin of Winston-Salem, NC and A. Ted Kane of Nebraska, a brothers in law: John Taylor of Mays Landing, NJ, Steve Gajkowski and wife Joan of Saylorsburg, PA, Mark Gajkowski of Stockton, NJ, sister-in-law: Robin Marcoux and husband Ray of White River Junction, VT and many nieces and nephews and friends.</p><p>He was preceded in death by a sister: Monica Taylor.</p><p>Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA</p><p>Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 11 am until time of services at the funeral home.</p><p>Memorial donations may be made to the family C/O Patricia Kane, 124 Lupine Drive, Saylorsburg, PA 18353.</p><p>Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA is entrusted with his arrangements.</p><p>www.gowerfuneralhome.com</p><p><br></p>November 6, 1952 - November 30, 202311/06/195211/30/2023
