<p>James E. Shelton age 85, of Robards, KY passed away Friday May 19, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 19, 1937 to the late Robert Lee & Viola Trent Shelton in Henderson, KY. He was a member of Riverside General Baptist church in Drakesboro, KY. He owned and operated Shelton Salvage for many years. He never met a stranger, telling stories and meeting people. His enjoyment was going to flea markets, traveling , cooking and smoking meats.</p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee & Viola Trent Shelton. Eight brothers & sisters.
