<p>Mr. Quincy Markell Mills, 19, of Hollister, North Carolina transitioned on May 12, 2023. He was born on November 21, 2003 at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina to Walter Mills and Tonya Anstead.</p><p><br></p><p>Quincy was young and full of life. He would do anything to help anyone and was a very respectful young man.</p><p><br></p><p>He received his high school diploma from Northwest High School in Littleton, North Carolina.</p><p><br></p><p>He had the biggest smile that would lighten any room and that’s what we’ll all miss the most.</p><p><br></p><p>He leaves behind, his dad: Walter Mills and his mom: Tonya Anstead; his grandma: Rene; his aunt: Sherry and Pa James; his siblings: James, Chesley, Caroline and Antonio; his pa: Ronnie Mills; his grandma: Prenasia Anstead; grandpa: Tony Anstead; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>A big shoutout to his Mill Road Family to whom he was a baby to and they all loved dearly.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A Visitation will be held for Mr. Mills on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Roanoke Rapids Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home located at 520 Smith Church Road, North Carolina. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place immediately after the service at the Mills Family Cemetery at 1322 Mills Road in Hollister, North Carolina.</p><p><br></p><p>These professional services have been entrusted to H.D.
