<p>James W Kirk also known as “Pete” was born on September 23, 1947 in </p><p>Cleveland, Ohio to the late John B Kirk and Hattie B Kirk (nee- Pipes). </p><p>Both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother </p><p>John Kirk, sister Marlene Ruffins (nee- Kirk) and his son Anthony Kirk. </p><p>James was educated through the Cleveland Public School System and last </p><p>attended John Adams High. He later worked as a professional truck driver </p><p>for 47 years until fell with health issues. </p><p>In James spare time, he had a fondness for watching and talking about </p><p>sports. He also enjoyed watching cowboy and western shows and Star </p><p>Trek. He especially loved spending time with his close friends and family. </p><p>He really loved eating barbeque ribs. He would always ask his wife </p><p>Ernestine to barbeque and invite his friends over to eat good food and </p><p>enjoy life. He had a passion with playing with his pet dogs. Chase Kirk was </p><p>his first best pal which he loved so much. It was so upsetting when Chase </p><p>passed that he got a new best pal named after the famous Captain Kirk </p><p>from Star Trek. James was known to be a very generous man and loved </p><p>helping people. Everyone that was close to James, knew that he was a </p><p>kind hearted man. James will be surely missed. </p><p>James is survived by his wife Ernestine Kirk, sister Louberta Jefferson, </p><p>daughter Anita, son Dennis, step-son Keith, step-son Stuart, step-daughter </p><p>Rachell, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, </p><p>nephews, nieces, and friends. </p>
