<p>Jessica Darlene Earls, 74, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospice.</p><p>She was born December 17, 1948 in Blacksburg, VA a daughter of the late Jesse Edward andMargaret Belle Bland Lang. Jessica loved to dance and more recently enjoyed dancing at JJ’s in Ripley where she affectionately became known as “Nan.”</p><p>Jessica is survived by her children Regina Terry, Michael Carpenter (Jennifer) and Jay Carpenter; sister Sandy Wright (Billy); brother Jesse Edward Lang Jr (Mary).; grandchildren Kelsey Terry, Cierra Carpenter, Kaitlyn Carpenter, Shayelin Carpenter, Christian Carpenter, Cheyenne Carpenter and Courtney Carpenter. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Ronald Sturgill IV and Ivy Sturgill.</p><p>In addition to her parents Jessica was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bland.</p><p>In honoring her wishes Jessica will be cremated with no further services scheduled at this time.
