<p>LUCAS, Dorothy Pauline – 85, Sunnyville, Guysborough Co. passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Sunnyville, she was a daughter of the late Robe and Louise (Clyke) Borden. Dorothy enjoyed music and dancing, as well as her puzzle books. She enjoyed mostly the company of her family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivng are daughters, Geraldine, Judy (Bernard), Alice (Michael), all of Sunnyville; Beverly (Roy), Roxanne, both of Toronto; son, Bruce, Toronto; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Rita Borden; brother-in-law, Joseph Mansfield; She was predeceased by her sons, Raymond in infancy, James, daughter-in-law, Joanne; son-in-law, Richard; brothers, Laurier and Garfield; sisters, Florence and Marion;. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Friday from 7-9p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be 3p.m. Sunday from Wesley United Church, Guysborough, with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to Sunnyville Baptist Church.
