<p><p style="text-align: center">Elizabeth Marie Thorn</p> <p style="text-align: center">Elizabeth Marie Thorn, 65, of Azle, Texas passed away after a year long, courageous battle with liver cancer on October 15, 2022, surrounded by her children. She was born on August 22, 1957 to William and Shirley Rhoudes in Lufkin, Texas. Elizabeth was the oldest of nine children, Cindy, Connie, Leonard, Leon, Michael, Jeanette, B.J. & Alicia. She married Bruce Wells, on May 4, 1973 and together, the couple went on to have four children, Kathy, Bruce, Rachel and Amanda. She was a very loving and caring mother. </p> <p style="text-align: center">Elizabeth was so loved by so many. She will be greatly missed.</p> <p style="text-align: center">Elizabeth was preceded in passing by her father, William Rhoudes; mother, Shirley Rhoudes; sister, Jeanette Rhoudes; daughter, Amanda Wells; and her first husband, Bruce Wells. </p> <p style="text-align: center">She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Kathy Grimes, Bruce Wells, and Rachel Carter and husband; brothers, Leonard Rhoudes and wife, Leon Rhoudes and wife, and MIchael Rhoudes; sisters, Connie Johnson and husband, Cindy Gregory and husband, and Alicia Quiroz and husband; grandchildren, Sasha Turvaville and husband, Siarra Wells, Jevon Carter, Macey Carter, Brandon Wells, Jerica Wells, and William (Joseph) Wells; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Mason, Dillon, Davina and David; and a host of extended family and friends.</p> <p style="text-align: center">A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from at 2:00 PM. to 5:00 PM. at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home.</p> </p>August 22, 1957 - October 15, 202208/22/195710/15/2022
