<p><p><br> With great sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Rajinder Singh Arora, of New York on Wednesday, 21 September 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.</p> <p>He was an active and beloved member of the Sikh community, and well versed in the Sikh religion. Through his religious practice, he guided others towards peace and faith. He prospered in his life by showing compassion and kindness to every person he met.</p> <p>Rajinder was preceded in death by his devoted and loving wife, Joginder Kaur. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who learned how to value every moment of life through his teachings.</p> <p>A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, 1 October 2022, at 10:00 am at TRAUB Funeral Home, Inc., 684 N. Main Street, Central Square, NY 13036, Phone (315) 668-2688. Antim Ardaas will follow at Sikh Foundation of Syracuse, 4632 Wetzel Road, Liverpool, NY 13090, Phone (315) 622-7454.</p> <p>Kirtan and Ardaas in his memory will be held on Sunday, 2 October 2022, at Gurdwara Sahib, Sikh Foundation of Syracuse.
