<p>James W. Duffy, age 92, died on September 22, 2022 at his home in West Deptford where he lived for 62 years. James is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita A. (Oakes), children James Jr. (Sandra), Harry (Christine), Monica (Chris) Willey, grandchildren Nicole (Jordan), Shane (Taylor), Erica, Joe, and Lauren and great grandson Colin.</p><p><br></p><p>He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Ella Duffy and brothers Paul and Lawrence Duffy.</p><p><br></p><p>James was born in Philadelphia on January 15, 1930. He graduated from West Catholic Boys High School, Philadelphia in 1947. James enlisted in the US Air Force in 1950. He served in Korea from 1953-1954 and was honorably discharged in 1954. In 1955, James began his career with Addressograph and continued in that field until his retirement in 1995. Jim loved his sports, having Eagles season tickets for many years and never missed a Phillies game on TV. More than anything, James was devoted to his faith, his family and his friends. James loved his Catholic faith, praying the rosary and attending daily Mass. His devotion to Rita was incredible and his love for her was unsurpassed. In addition to his wife Rita, his three children 5 grandchildren and great grandson were his pride and joy. He never missed a birthday party, game, show or activity for his grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may greet the family 9:00am - 10:30am on Tuesday in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Ave, Woodbury, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am in St. Matthew's Church (Holy Angels Parish), 4th and Monument Ave., National Park, NJ.
