James Carter LeBlanc, Sr. of Macomb County passed away May 26, 2022 at the age of 72. James was born on December 1, 1949 to Frances and Lillian (nee Kriger) LeBlanc in Detroit, Michigan. On February 7, 1969 James married Vera Iwasiuk at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, Michigan and together they had two children. James was an entrepreneur the majority of his life, and began his journey into business ownership in his early twenties. His first business was Verne Corporation, which he started when he sold his car and built a submarine from scratch. He had many successful companies and made them into family businesses with his wife, son, brother, and other family members also working alongside him. Beloved husband of Vera; loving dad of Linda (Rob) Guyton and James (Sarah) Jr.; adored papa of Alyssa (Ryan) Storiale, Brianna Emery, Amelia LeBlanc and Alaina LeBlanc; cherished brother of Richard (Judi) LeBlanc and the late sister Frances (Robert) DeVos. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to American Diabetes Association.
