James T Sharp, age 65, of Jacksonville FL passed away on April 12, 2022 with family by his side. James was born in NJ on July 27,1956 to Kenneth and Catherine Sharp (Lawn) James served in the United States Marine Corp. as an 0331 "machine gunner" with the 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, out of Camp Lejune, NC. Jim met his wife Debbie in 1984 in Asbury Park NJ and they had 3 children, James K, Jaimey L, and Catherine A who loved him more than words can describe. They moved to Florida in 1998 where Jim started a small business that he continued to operate until October 2022. He was a fair, kind, and honest businessman and many of his customers stayed in touch for years. Everyone he met loved his incredible sense of humor. More than anything else, Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Everything he enjoyed involved his family. He took great pride in his children and he adored his grandchildren.... and they him. He was the best "Pop" and he will be desperately missed. Jim was predeceased by his parents and brother Steve. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Cambeis), son James K (Jerilyn), daughters, Catherine A and Jaimey L (Eric) , his 4 grandchildren; Hailey, Ashlynn, Jake and Cole. Brothers; Mike, Kevin (Sue), Chuck (Rose). A memorial service will be held Wednesday April 27, 2022 6:00pm at Mandarin Lutheran Church 11900 San Jose Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32223 "One More Good Day"
