James F. Cox, Sr., 84, of Greenfield, WI, passed peacefully at home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022. <br/><br/>Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, at 12 pm at Our Father's Lutheran Church in Greenfield, WI. The Rev. Dr. Karl Fabrizius will officiate. Visitation will be 10 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, with a private family gathering.<br/><br/>James was born to Newton and Minnie (Glamann) Cox on March 19, 1937, in Oak Grove. He married Nancy (Lacher) on October 11, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV.<br/><br/>James served in the United States Air Force, he then went on to work for Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, WI. In 1964 in went to work for Milwaukee County in the data processing department, he retired as Manager with over 25 years of employment. James was also a consultant for IBM. He enjoyed traveling all over the US and Canada for pleasure. He had many antiques and collectibles.<br/><br/>James is survived by his children, Shirley (Art) Rijkse, Broadway, NC, Janet Cox, Greenfield, Beverly (Tony) Palozzolo, Advance, N.C., James (Sue) Cox, Jr., Fox Lake, Ill; Grandchildren, Matthew (Corinna) Rijkse, Melissa (Jim) Hodson, Nick (Lisa) Palozzolo, Jeffrey Cox, Jiliana (Jon) Dulaney, Christina Palozzolo, Barbara (Keith) Bisanz, Zac (Marissa) Cox; Great grandchildren, Zoey Rijkse, Hunter Hodson, Triston Hodson, Ryan Bisanz and Emma Palozzolo. As well as a vast extended family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
