<p>Dawn A. Letchford, 43 of Vinton, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. Dawn is remembered as being vibrant and colorful, an artistic soul who loved arts/crafts and ceramics. The most amazing mother and grandmother, Dawn loved and cared for her family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Dawn is survived by her three daughters, Brittany Baker and husband, Branon of Troutville, Amanda Letchford and Christopher Lewis, and Chelsea Letchford and Zachary West; grandchildren, Braxton Lewis and Arianna Lewis, mother, Betty C. Clark of Bedford, father, Fred B. Shanks and wife Mary Jane Shanks. She is also survived by her brother, Ray B. Shanks and wife, Emily of Elliston, her sister, Tracey Smith and husband Andrew, of Norway, SC, a step-sister, Tammy Monroe and husband James of Dublin, a step -brother, Jeffrey Cauley, special and loving friend, Cameron Hyden, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at New Hope Christian Church, 4229 Welcome Valley Road, Roanoke, 4:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
